Peel Talent have recently been working with our friend, the super talented Anton Du Beke, to create a new production show for our partner Marella Cruises.

The brand new show ‘Putting On The Glitz’ is a sophisticated dance show, set in a luxury Latin-American Nightclub and boasts a fabulous array of stunning colourful costumes inspired by the glamorous party days of Hollywood in the 1930’s, and being a celebration of dance styles, it’s a veritable feast for the eyes. The show uses fantastic interactive techniques to create a theatrical spectacle by putting Anton virtually on stage with our talented show team.

From make-up to costume, production to choreography; we know it’s our attention to detail that’s the key to delivering fabulous entertainment. Just before Christmas 2017 our Head of Creative Kerry Daley and Managing Director Susannah Daley, with our entire production team, headed down to London to work with the London African Gospel Choir and Anton on a week-long filming schedule at Centre Stage Studios, London.

Anton, who had previously worked with our show teams earlier in the year, was a pure delight to work with throughout the creative process and we were confident that with his personality, talent and dynamic choreography that the show would be a big hit with our cruisers onboard Marella Cruises.

After much anticipation ‘Putting On The Glitz’ made its preview onboard Marella Discovery 2 last week where it received a standing ovation from hundreds of guests. The show is set to go live onboard Marella Discovery later this year and we can’t wait to see the reaction.
