Peel Talent’s latest show cast of 10 singers and dancers grabbed the headlines last month as they flew out to join the Marella Dream cruise ship in Tenerife.
Following 12 weeks of intensive rehearsals at the Peel Talent Studio Base in Keighley, West Yorkshire, the team are already wowing cruise guests with their repertoire of 11 West End standard shows which present a mind blowing breadth of music and dance genres, from musical theatre to rock.
The nine month tour will see the team travel around the Canary islands and the Mediterranean, stopping off at resorts like Barcelona, Monaco and Gibraltar, all the while performing their exciting itinerary of two shows per night to audiences of 1000 plus.
Head of Peel Talent, Alan Cutler said: “From the initial auditions at Pineapple Dance Studios to sail-away, the Dream team have worked incredibly hard to perfect the portfolio of shows they collectively perform or solo in. Their professionalism and dedication has paid off as we are already receiving great feedback from Marella Cruise guests about the fantastic quality of the onboard entertainment.”
Dream team members Matthew Roddis, Robbie Mackenzie, Maria Myatt and Braidley Wilson’s success stories even reached the ears of their local press and media, with each of them landing a front page splash – a move which might hopefully see them follow in the footsteps of renowned West End performers Cleopatra Joseph and Joseph Fletcher who also began their careers as members the Peel Talent Marella Cruise cast.
