Despite the challenging weather we’ve seen across the UK this week, Thursday 1^st March saw the cream of cruise turn out for the industry’s most prestigious event of the year, The Wave Awards 2018. Hosted at the Grand Connaught Rooms in London’s Covent Garden, The Wave Awards are voted by both the trade and the public so winners truly are the best of the best!

Coming up against some commendable competition in the form of Carnival Cruise Line and P&O Cruises, Peel (as exclusive entertainment providers for Marella’s Classic & Discovery fleet), are absolutely delighted to announce that Marella Cruises received first place in the 'Best For Entertainment' category - an extremely prestigious award!

This fantastic news follows on from the recent success we've had at the Cruise Critic's Choice Awards where Marella Spirit and Discovery were awarded with first and second place in the Best Mid-Size Cruises Overall category. The success doesn’t end there though, Marella Spirit also secured second place in the Best Mid-Size Cruise Ships for Entertainment category, with Marella Dream also finishing in the top five.

We’re incredibly proud to share such fantastic achievements with Marella Cruises, with whom we share a very close relationship and with the preview of our new show featuring Anton Du Beke previewing last week, fingers crossed for even more award-winning cruise entertainment in the future.
