After three months of hard work in our rehearsal studios, PEEL Talent’s winter showteams are about to embark on a six-month voyage on-board two wonderful cruise ships – The Thomson Dream and Fred. Olsen’s Balmoral.

Entertaining while travelling the world

This season the Thomson Dream will be sailing around the sun-drenched Caribbean Sea and have on-board, for fans of Showboaters, some well-known faces. Not only will all the ships entertainment be directed by judge Stephen Guy but those lucky enough to be cruising on Thomson Dream will have the privilege of being entertained by the show’s winner, Ashanti Kemp. For the 18-year-old South Londoner, working on-board the Thomson Dream will be the culmination of a long journey. After auditioning for and winning the show it was only after three months more of intensive training and rehearsals that she was ready to board the ship. Speaking on the eve of her six-month trip Ashanti said, “I’ve always said ‘dream big’ and this dream is finally coming true for me. After winning Showboaters – I can’t wait to enjoy the prize!”

This is also a very exciting time for our showteams boarding Fred. Olsen’s Balmoral. This is because, this year, The Balmoral will be embarking on a world cruise visiting the likes of New Orleans, New York, Jamaica, Peru, Argentina and St. Petersburg. As one of our team said, “you are performing in a hotel that parks in a different place every day”.
